Our agency was brought in to create a campaign centering on the operator as the most important part of the freight industry. With the present focus on automation, and Uber often seen as a company that will make obsolete many of today’s jobs, we wanted to show how important each driver is to a supply chain that runs many aspects of daily life.
We traveled across the country and sat down with small-scale owner operators, shooting 2-minute videos coupled with blog posts to learn their stories. From purchasing their first truck and incorporating emerging technologies to dealing with the toll on their mental and physical health, we detail the experiences of these drivers and how they keep America moving.
